通过基因编辑技术将P2A-CreERT2-WPRE-BGHpA基因表达元件整合到小鼠内源Drd1基因的终止密码子（TGA）处，即在小鼠Drd1基因调控元件的驱动下表达CreERT2重组酶。当该品系与含有loxP位点的小鼠杂交产生的子代小鼠经他莫昔芬诱导后，预计将在多巴胺神经元中发生由Cre重组酶介导的loxP位点间的序列重组。
